Cream of Mushroom Soup

We are back with another delicious soup recipe using our Simple Living Products Soup Maker yay!

I want to preface by saying this content is NOT sponsored but we were sent the soup maker :) We have a confession, we think we are officially obsessed with mushrooms. We have used them in so many recipes and this is the 2nd mushroom soup, but this was a very different kind of soup & admittedly, it was significantly better. The silkiness this offers is unlike anything we have achieved. Similar to the Butternut Squash, this was easily the best Cream of Mushroom we have ever made.

  • 1 1/2 cups baby bella mushrooms

  • 1 potato

  • 1 onion

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 2 1/2 cups water

  • 1/2 tablespoon butter or olive oil

  • Cajun seasoning & a splash of soy sauce


  • Dice mushrooms, onion, potato

  • Pour veggies & garlic into the soup maker

  • Add water, soy sauce, seasoning, butter/oil

  • Turn on and set to "smooth"

  • Wait 30 minutes and soup is ready to pour! <3


  • Dice mushrooms, onion, potato

  • On saute mode (in Instant Pot) or in dutch oven add butter, garlic, and onions

  • Lightly brown and pour in mushrooms and potato, stir well

  • Let cook for a few minutes then pour in water, soy sauce, seasoning, butter/oil

  • Pressure cook on high for 20 minutes or simmer on low for 90 minutes

  • Once safe, open lid and stir well -- blend for smoothness
